Is this cream suitable for pregnant women?
Hello Taila we suggest seeking approval from your healthcare professional before using any skincare products while pregnant.
do you recommend that I use this at night instead of retinol or can I use both?
Hello Kathleen it would be best to alternate Retinol and the Vital C Repair Creme on separate days. You could also use the Vital C Repair Creme during the day and the Retinol at night.
I understand that you do not reveal your ingredients by percentage. Please, can you say whether the concentration of vitamin C in the Vital C Hydrating Repair Creme is more, less, or the same than in the Vital C Hydrating Serum? Thank you!
Both of these products are part of our Vital C Collection and provide wonderful hydration to the skin for a collection that is fit for all skin types. However, the difference is that the Vital C Repair Creme is more of a thicker moisturizer meant to be used at nighttime. While the Vital C Anti-Aging Serum is a serum that can be used in the morning & evening and under makeup.
Please, what is the percentage of THD ascorbate, or the overall percentage of vitamin C because you utilize a combination of vitamin C derivatives?
We do not break down our formulations by percentage of Vitamin C as this can be misleading to our customers. High percentages of Vitamin C can be irritating to the skin (especially forms such as L-ascorbic) and cause significant oxidation of the formula. To circumvent this, our chemists have blended various forms of Vitamin C along with delivery technology (for example, encapsulation) that ensure proper delivery without adverse side effects or formula degradation. This allows us to provide a superior product and result without having to use high concentrations of Vitamin C which can severely effect product esthetics and limits the use to consumers.
Is this oil free?
This product does have a proprietary essential oil blend. However, we have removed ingredients (if present) such as phthalates, mineral oil & synthetic dyes as part of our new Clean Clinical™ brand standard.
