- Can I use this product at night? And can I use it with my Retin A?
- Hello Kay the VITAL C hydrating antioxidant A C E serum can be used at night with our retinol products. However for prescription retinols you would have to confirm with your healthcare provider.
- I am currently using the Vital C Hydrating Facial Oil, would this go on before or after that oil? Is there a benefit to using both? Also, I have very sensitive skin with rosacea, is this okay for highly sensitive skin?
- You would apply the AC&E Serum prior to applying the Vital C Facial Oil. These products are great for dry and dehydrated skin. You can also alternate the AC&E Serum with the Hydrating Facial Oil as well.
- When i apply a few drops and rub my hands together it turns white. What gives?!
- Hello Margot. It is possible that if hands are wet, the water and lipid content of the vitamin C may emulsify and turn white.
- What is the vitamin C percentage?
- We do not break down our formulations by percentage of Vitamin C as this can be misleading to our customers. High percentages of Vitamin C can be irritating to the skin (especially forms such as L-ascorbic) and cause significant oxidation of the formula. To circumvent this, our chemists have blended various forms of Vitamin C along with delivery technology (for example, encapsulation) that ensure proper delivery without adverse side effects or formula degradation. This allows us to provide a superior product and result without having to use high concentrations of Vitamin C which can severely effect product esthetics and limits the use to consumers.
- Can VITAL C hydrating antioxidant A C E serum be used with Niacinamide or clindamycin benzoyl peroxide?
- Clindamycin BPO is a prescription product so we can not advise on the use of that and would have defer to your prescribing physician for further usage approval.
